Naveris, a commercial stage, precision oncology diagnostics company with facilities in Boston, MA and Durham, NC, is looking for a Patient Marketing Manager team member to help us advance our mission of developing and delivering novel diagnostics that transform cancer detection and improve patient outcomes. Our flagship test, NavDx, is a breakthrough blood-based DNA test for HPV cancers, clinically proven and already trusted by thousands of physicians and institutions across the U.S.
Opportunity
The Patient Marketing Manager will lead Naveris’ patient engagement strategy to increase awareness, education, and adherence to NavDx testing among patients with HPV+ cancer.
This role will build and manage programs that empower patients, strengthen survivorship communities, and ensure patients understand the importance of regular NavDx testing during surveillance. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient advocacy, community building, and digital engagement in oncology.
Job Responsibilities
Patient Engagement Strategy
- Define and execute a comprehensive patient engagement strategy supporting NavDx test adoption.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient awareness and engagement throughout the survivorship journey.
Patient Community Development
- Build and manage a patient community platform that facilitates interaction and support among HPV+ cancer survivors.
- Establish and manage a Patient Advisory Board to provide insights into patient needs, experiences, and educational priorities.
Patient Advocacy & Survivorship Programs
- Develop partnerships with patient advocacy groups and survivorship organizations, and foundations.
- Manage Naveris participation in survivorship programs, conferences, and community events.
Patient Education & Resources
- Develop patient education materials, resources, and events that explain the value of NavDx testing in surveillance and recurrence monitoring.
- Ensure materials are accessible, clear, and aligned with patient needs and clinical messaging.
Digital & Social Engagement
- Drive patient engagement through social media and digital platforms, building awareness of HPV-related head and neck cancer and the importance of monitoring.
- Manage patient-focused campaigns including storytelling, testimonials, and educational content, by working with Marketing team members (content, design, etc.)
Surveillance Engagement Programs
- Develop patient engagement strategies that reinforce the importance of regular NavDx testing during surveillance.
- Create campaigns that encourage patients to stay engaged with their monitoring schedule.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the broader marketing team to develop patient communication tools and campaigns.
- Collaborate with medical affairs, sales, and clinical teams to ensure educational materials are accurate and impactful.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in patient marketing, consumer marketing, or patient engagement in healthcare, diagnostics, or biotech.
- Experience developing patient education or advocacy programs.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and social media engagement.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in oncology, diagnostics, or precision medicine.
- Experience working with patient advocacy organizations.
- Background in community-driven marketing or patient support programs.

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) is a federal law that describes the national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge. All roles at Naveris require compliance with legal and regulatory requirements of HIPAA and acceptance and adherence to all policies and standards at Naveris. Personnel acknowledges they are personally responsible for reporting any suspected violations or abuse and are required to complete HIPAA training when joining the company.

Salary Range : $100,000 - $120,000
